A lovely dinner with my friend,
Arlington Dewberry,
his place is less Mouse Hole,
more Stately Mouse Hall.

Oh dear!
This Bonsai tree is not looking so good – I keep looking for new shoots.
Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a Bonsai tree that was – a) alive and
b) had blossom or tiny mouse-sized cherries or apples – I would love
that!

Welly-ho!
to find a welly,
to find a boot,
for some poor soul less of a hoot,
to be one legged and many footed,
not a situation to be covet . . . ed.
there may be a trail,
a line of single footprints tell
that unfortunate tale,
so who has that single-soggy-sock?
covered in grass and mud,
in between a hard-place-and-a-rock
oh, what a shock,
not a position to mock!
so always remember to keep
both your feet firmly on the ground,
and both feet in your
wellies safe and sound.

The Albert Hall
this weekend I visited Lou Lou’s Vintage Fair, at The Albert Hall, Nottingham.
an unexpectedly cool selfie effect!
spot the mouse
in a bit of a tangle!
Hide and Squeak
8 . . .9 . . . 10 coming ready or not!
Where are those church mice?
not here . . .
or here . . .
or here . . .
this game is trickier than I thought . . .
up the Tower
Up lots of steps, I say ‘Phew’,
but it’s worth it, for such a good view!
Church-clock
tick-tock!
Bells!
How nice a mouse sized bell!
There was a young Mouse who went Ringing,
The Bells of St Wilfrid’s ‘Dong-dinging’,
He asked ‘Where’s the Church-Mice?’
‘Oh isn’t that nice – they’re down on the Pulpit and singing!’
Oh my!
a little time at Ikea
Went to Ikea Nottingham, for mouse house inspiration – filled my
bag, but then everyone got evacuated(!) so came home without a thing . .
. oh well.
Busy, busy
Sorted
out my little mouse house, so that it’s comfortable for the moment. I
have a bed, a light and a table which is a bit too tall. Not forgetting
the lifebouy (I’ve had enough trouble with floods this year).
Bubbles
Been cleaning out the mouse-hole and hunting for furniture,
so now am in need of a lovely relaxing bubble bath.
Wow lots of bubbles!
S n o w !
So you go all the way to Scotland no snow, then finally, back home – S N O W !
got my snow boots on and my cosy jumper – wheeeeeeeee!!!
look at my lovely igloo
funny that now I finally have a mouse-hole to call home, I get another place to stay,
